How do I get books from O'Reilly (formerly Safari Technical)?

O'Reilly Books is an excellent place to find books that relate to science and technology including books about software and computer programming. It can be confusing the first time you use it.
The first time you use O'Reilly:
First, you will always choose, "Not listed? Click here" when prompted to select an institution.
If you want to download books using the O'Reilly app, you must sign up for a free account. The O'Reilly app will allow you to download books and work offline. If you just want to read the books through your internet browser when you are online only, you can just enter your UANET ID @uakron.edu email and sign up for a free account.
The next time you use O'Reilly:
You select "Not Listed? Click here." for the institution as last time.
If you signed up for an account, you will select the "Already a user? Click here" hyperlink when you go to O'Reilly in the future. If you want to just use O'Reilly online only, enter your email as you did previously.
