I'm teaching this semester and I need to borrow equipment.

Faculty who need additional technology to assist with instruction this semester may request equipment through Audio/Visual Services in Bierce Library.

Equipment that can be requested:  

  1. FIFINE wireless Lavalier microphone, for MAC/Windows. Lavalier mic and head-worn mic and receiver (USB type-A 2.0 connector)  
  2. WACOM digital writing tablet  
  3. TOTU USB C Hub, Type C Hub with Ethernet, 4K USB C to HDMI, VGA, 2 USB3.0 2 USB2.0, Micro SD/TF Card Reader, mic/audio, USB-C Pd 3.0, compatible for Mac Pro and other Type C laptops  
  4. HDMI 4 20-foot cable  
  5. 3.5mm mini stereo to RCA audio cable 20-foot 
  6. USB audio adapter external sound card with 3.5mm headphone and microphone jack compatible with Windows, Mac, macOS, Linux, PS4, PS5, Plug and Play  
  7. MOVO Universal Lavalier wired USB microphone for computer with USB adapter compatible with laptop, desktop, PC and Mac, smartphones, cameras, podcasting, remote work and laptop microphone (20-foot cord). This item is recommended for asynchronous online instruction.  

How to request:  

  1. Faculty equipment request
  2. Please select a pickup time using the calendar feature under the equipment photos and select ‘Submit Times.’  
  3. Authenticate with your UANet ID and password.  
  4. Read the Audio-Visual Equipment: Terms & Conditions and select ‘Continue.’  
  5. Enter your information and select the equipment you would like to request. To finalize your request, select ‘Submit Booking.’  

An email will be sent confirming your request. After Audio-Visual Services has verified your information and the availability of the equipment, a second confirmation email will be sent.  

Equipment can be scheduled for pick up any hours the Library is open with the exception of weekends. Pickup times can be scheduled no earlier than 24 hours after the request is placed. Please bring whatever equipment you already have with you to your appointment so that AVS can work with you to ensure that you have what you need.

(Note: This equipment will be checked out to faculty for the entire semester.)
